This 'small data' text analysis project considers what it means for corporations to display Pride advertisements in their windows, and how we might read these expressions of 'rainbow capitalism.' How do these Pride displays flatten (or completely dismiss) queer personhood? How might we critically engage with the complex entanglement of representation and exploitation, especially in a time when the personhood of trans people is under broad attack in the United States?
